SIT

This is what happened when I said "Sit please." this morning. Looks like they both listened for a change! Ha!



It's funny because Max is beginning to realize that the dog will do what you say - sometimes. Right now the only thing he tells her to do is, "Go." Usually he wants her to go outside or go on her bed but sometimes none of us know where he wants her to go. Havers, for her part, either ignores him or looks at him with her head cocked awaiting further directions. Funny funny.

Housework Should Be a Better Workout!

A short post from me. It's been an incredibly tiring couple of weeks. Dan's been gone for a TDY trip and we had a possible tick infestation that I got to handle on my own. Ugh! Not a huge fan of bugs and especially not a fan of parasites. The quick and dirty version of my two weeks is below.

1. poor food choices nearly every BUT i have had at least two or three good servings of veggies and one good protein source every day and this is a big deal for me.

2. about 50% success with the water.

3. did my best with the walking. managed to get at least 20 minutes in - and often more - almost every day but the week of rain put a bit of a damper (ouch. it hurts just writing that.) on things.

4. i was able to leave work at 4:00 today so i got a 25 minute run and a 10 minute walk on the treadmill then i took max on a nice long walk this evening. dan is supposed to be home saturday through tuesday so i should be able to workout every one of those days with no issue. yay!!!
